Police and firefighter retirement matters. Makes changes to the 1977 police officers' and firefighters' pension and disability fund to include police officers in several sections of the statute that may logically apply to police officers as well as firefighters. Specifies that a state police officer who retires after 25 years of service is entitled to: (1) retain the officer's service weapon; (2) receive a "Retired" badge in recognition of the officer's service; and (3) receive an identification card that indicates that the officer is retired.
