Custody of documents under audit. Removes provisions regarding the authority of the state board of accounts (board) to conduct an examination without notice to an entity subject to examination. Specifies the manner in which records requested as part of an examination must be handled. Requires the board, in the case of an examination of a township, to: (1) notify the township executive (executive) of the records requested by the board; and (2) allow the executive to bring the requested records to the circuit court clerk's office.
