Course access program. Requires, not later than 15 days after submission of a request, a school corporation to notify an eligible student's parent or an emancipated eligible student whether the school corporation approves or denies the student's request to enroll in a course access program course. Provides that an eligible student is automatically approved if the school corporation fails to provide the notice within the required time period. Amends a provision that establishes the reasons for which a school corporation may disapprove an eligible student's enrollment. Requires the department of education (department) to establish a period of time each calendar Course access program. Requires, not later than 15 days after submission of a request, a school corporation to notify an eligible student's parent or an emancipated eligible student whether the school corporation approves or denies the student's request to enroll in a course access program course. Amends a provision that establishes the reasons for which a school corporation may disapprove an eligible student's enrollment. Requires the department of education (department) to establish a period of time each calendar year in which the department shall accept applications for course provider authorization and approval of course access program courses. Provides that, if a school corporation is an authorized course provider and offers an approved online course access program course, the school corporation shall provide to the department and post on the school corporation's Internet web site certain information regarding open slots in the course access program course. ...
