Retail sale of dogs or cats. Provides that a retail pet store may not sell or offer to sell a dog or cat unless the dog or cat was obtained from an animal rescue organization or a government entity that operates an animal shelter or impounding facility. Requires that a retail pet store maintain certain records for not less than one year after the dog or cat is sold, adopted, or given away. Provides that a retail pet store must post the name and business address of the person or organization from which the dog or cat was obtained on Retail sale of dogs or cats.
