Commission on aging. Requires the commission on aging to be composed of 16 lay members appointed by the governor, two senators appointed by the president pro tempore, and two representatives appointed by the speaker of the house. Provides that the term of a lay member is four years. Allows legislative members of the commission to receive the same per diem, mileage, and travel allowances as members of the general assembly serving on interim study committees established by the legislative council. (Current law states that the commission consists of 16 members appointed by the governor.)
