Hypnotist school accreditation and alcohol and drug abuse counselors. Amends the definition of hypnotism. Provides that no two members of the Indiana hypnotist committee may belong to the same professional hypnosis association. Provides that the hours of hypnotism education completed by an individual who applies for a certificate as a hypnotist must be from an Indiana school or program of hypnotism approved by the Indiana commission on proprietary education or from certain other state approved schools or programs. Prohibits practices regarding hypnotist advertising and practice. Provides that a practitioner violates health professions standards by engaging in or soliciting sexual contact with a practitioner's patient. Adds an alcohol and drug abuse counselor section to the social worker, marriage and family therapist and mental health counselor board. Sets qualifications for licensed clinical alcohol and drug abuse counselors. Prohibits the use of certain titles. Makes the unlicensed practice of alcohol and drug abuse counseling a Class A misdemeanor. Requires the health finance commission to study topics related to the licensure of alcohol and drug counselors. Makes conforming amendments.
