DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL


Governmental accountability. Abolishes the state board of accounts. Transfers the duties, functions, and powers of the state board of accounts to the legislative branch. Provides for continuity in board administration, procedures, and operations. Requires that financial reports audited on an annual basis comply with generally accepted accounting principles.
