Study committee for end of life issues. Establishes the end of life issues study committee. Provides that the committee consists of eight members of the general assembly appointed by the speaker of the house and the president pro tempore of the senate. Provides that the committee shall operate for one year under the direction of the legislative council. Requires the committee to study and make recommendations concerning advanced directives, pain management and palliative care, and the financial and regulatory issues that can interfere with providing the best quality care to the dying.
