DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL
Death and life imprisonment without parole. Allows the fact that a murder victim had a protection order or restraining order against a defendant at the time of the murder to be used as an aggravating circumstance when determining if the defendant should be sentenced to death or life imprisonment without parole. Allows the state to present evidence of a defendant's history of delinquency or criminality during the penalty phase of the defendant's murder trial. Makes a technical correction.
