DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL
Habitual offenders. Provides that a person may be found to be a habitual offender only if the person commits a violent felony. Specifies that a violent felony is a crime against the person, certain types of arson, burglary of a dwelling or while armed, resisting law enforcement while armed, escape while armed, rioting while armed, or any other felony that results in serious bodily injury.
