DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL
Emancipation and school attendance. Allows a child at least 16 years of age but less than 18 years of age to withdraw from school before graduation if a court emancipates the child with a specification that the child may withdraw from school. Allows a child less than 18 years of age who has been emancipated by a court with a specification that the child may withdraw from school to: (1) be issued; or (2) retain; a driver's license, subject to conditions required to obtain a driver's license.
