DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL


Voter identification. Provides that, before a voter may vote at the polls, the voter must show identification that contains a photograph of the voter. Removes provisions of the law relating to comparison of a voter's signature at the polls with the voter's signature on the registration record. Repeals superseded statutes concerning voter registration and procedures for admittance of a voter to the polls.
