House Bill 1434
DIGEST OF HB 1434 (Updated February 24, 2005 10:29 pm - DI 110)
Registering interior designers. Requires the office of the secretary of state to register interior designers. Establishes the requirements for registration and fees. Requires the secretary of state to deposit fees into the electronic and enhanced access fund. Provides that an interior designer is ineligible for registration if an interior designer has a civil judgment for negligence, recklessness, willful misconduct, or other breach of standard of care in the practice of interior design entered against the interior designer.
