DIGEST OF INTRODUCED BILL


Immunizations by hospitals. Requires a hospital to offer to immunize a patient who is at least 65 years of age against the influenza virus and the pneumococcal disease during specified times. Requires a hospital to adopt an immunization policy concerning influenza and pneumococcal disease. Allows the state health commissioner to waive the immunization requirements if there is a shortage of the immunizations.
