National criminal background checks for child care. Requires child care provider applicants, employees, and volunteers to undergo national criminal history background checks. Amends the list of convictions for which an individual is prohibited from being employed by or volunteering for certain entities that supervise children. Allows the state police department to collect fees or costs charged by the FBI or a private entity for national criminal history background checks related to child care. Requires child care providers to maintain records of the response to national criminal history checks.(The introduced version of this bill was prepared by the committee on child care.)
