Beef market development. Requires that a state assessment of $1 per head of cattle must be collected on the sale of cattle in Indiana. Provides that the Indiana Beef Council (council) is responsible for the collection and use of the assessment collected. Establishes duties and responsibilities for the council. Establishes procedures to allow a cattle producer to be refunded the assessment. Provides that the council cease collecting assessments if certain conditions are met. Makes conforming changes.
