School curriculum. Requires each school corporation, charter school, and accredited nonpublic school to offer Indiana studies as a one semester elective course in its high school curriculum at least once every school year. Provides that the course may be offered through a course access program administered by the department of education (department). Makes changes to a provision regarding a functional workplace Spanish designation. Provides that the department shall conduct a survey of elementary and secondary school teachers, administrators, and members of governing bodies regarding whether the individuals surveyed are in favor of or opposed to mandatory instruction of cursive writing School curriculum.
