Use of personal body cameras by police officers. Allows a law enforcement officer of a police department (department) of a county, city, or town (unit) to use the officer's personal body camera in the course of the officer's official duties. Provides that a personal body camera recording is not a public record unless the law enforcement officer provides the recording to the department. Provides that an officer who discloses the recording to a person or agency other than the department is civilly liable to certain individuals depicted in the body camera recording, if the officer uses the recording for a Use of personal body cameras by police officers. Provides that if the officer gives the recording to the department without first altering, displaying, or transmitting the recording to another person, the officer is immune from civil liability for disclosure of the recording to individuals depicted in the body camera recording. ...
