Teacher compensation. Provides that a school corporation may increase a teacher's base salary that exceeds the salary specified in the school corporation's compensation plan if the teacher possesses a master's degree that is: (1) directly related to the content area of a dual credit course or another course taught by the teacher; or (2) approved by the governing body of the school corporation. (Current law provides that a school corporation may provide a supplemental payment to a teacher that exceeds the salary specified in the school corporation's compensation plan if the teacher has earned a master's degree in a content
