Public use airports. Requires a person to apply for and receive a permit from the department of transportation (department) in order to construct on, alter, use, develop, or modify land located not more than two miles from a public use airport. Provides that the department may not grant the permit if the proposed construction, alteration, use, development, or modification (project) may contribute to, attract, or create an airport hazard that is detrimental to aviation safety within the airport operations area.
