Eminent domain. Provides that the power of eminent domain may be used only for certain specified purposes. Provides that eminent domain may not be used to increase the tax revenue of the state or a political subdivision. Provides that the state, a political subdivision, or an instrumentality of the state or of a political subdivision may not transfer real property acquired through the power of eminent domain to a private person for purposes of economic development. This proposed amendment has not been previously agreed to by a general assembly .
